Reshape the Mind

The mind is one of the most complex yet powerful parts of us.

Our world knows more than ever before about the brain, yet lives in an epidemic of poor mental heath.

This is predominantly due to the imbalance between body and mind. Creating distractions to deflect from our thoughts in order to carry on with life. The problem with this is that our brain keeps score. It holds the memory of more than we can possibly imagine. What if I told you that your brain has the capacity to hold all of human knowledge of all time. It is true. We exceed ourselves. This is why the brain, all of it's parts, thought, all of its complexities we will forever be studying.

The idea of “mindfullness” can be derived from the concept of contemplation. Do we do this regularly? Absolutely not. That is unfortunately why our world is increasingly in a state of mental unhealth and unease. Now yes, there are cases in which clinical cases of mental health are out of our control(ie. chemical imbalances, injury to the brain and many other conditions). For the purposes of this concept, however, consider what we as a population do have control over. Distraction, unhealth, poor habits, and ignoring our mind. It is when we are able to tap into our mind and start to develop and shape parts of our brain into one of balance, this is when we find clarity and health.

Start to identity areas in which you may be ignoring it and create new habits that shape you into the person you were made to be.

You may have heard of the scientific concept neuroplasticity. It is a real thing. You have the ability to reshape and rewire your brain into one of balance. To reorder the mind to think and perform in the way it was created to work. You can live a life of mental equilibrium, but you will have to put in the work. Set your mind up for success and start to reshape your life.
