Waiting, but the good kind
Life is full of waiting. An endless cycle of new seasons, requests, changes and questions.
How we wait should be asked instead of when. To wait well is with an entrusted sense of peace through it all, knowing that it will all work out in exactly the right timing and way. Rest versus restlessness will indicate whether you are truly trusting during the process or eager to take control.
We only have so much control over life's troubles and trials, but we do have the ability to choose how we show up in them. To wait well can offer a sense of rest and peace like never before. It can also build a sense of strength and grit that overpowers any lack of patience. Our willpower will grow if we allow the waiting to not overwhelm us but build a new pace of life counter to the world’s. Imagine a life that was so firm in faith that no matter what the wait may be, the one thought that ever crosses your mind is: how can I show up in the silence and grow.
Not by doing, but by simply being.
